Professor Dayananda Siddavattam is a distinguished molecular biologist and Vice-Chancellor of GITAM, recognised as a Fellow of all three of India's National Science Academies (FNA, FASc, FNASc). A J.C. Bose National Fellow, his pioneering work on bacterial phosphodiesterase has bridged fundamental genetic research with practical applications in biosensor development for industrial sectors.
